What to send us
| Reason | What helps |
|---|---|
| A search card lands on the wrong page or a 404 | The site name, your keyword, and the final URL you were sent to |
| A site no longer accepts queries in the URL | Same as above — we will switch the card to a plain link or remove it |
| Suggest a new site or channel | The site's search URL pattern, e.g. example.com/search?q= |
| A guide is out of date | The article URL and which sentence or number is wrong |
| Privacy: remove a search log entry | Approximate date, the keyword, and the site you searched |
| Copyright or trademark concern | The URL in question and the right you represent |
What we cannot help with
We do not run the search engines we link to, so we cannot remove a page from Google's index, restore a suspended account, refund a purchase, or answer questions about another company's product. Contact that company directly — we would only be guessing.
Response time
Most messages get a reply within two to three working days. Corrections to a broken link are usually fixed the same week; suggestions for new sites are reviewed in batches, so it can take longer before a site appears.
Press and research
If you are writing about multi-search tools or want a comment on query-passing practices, say so in the subject line and include your deadline. For background, see About MuchSearch and the guides.
